OLIVER TURNS 3

Can you believe Oliver is turning 3, just seems like yesterday when we were called to come to the hospital they had sent Brandi up there to watch, something wasn't right. Little did we know Oliver was coming later that night weighing in at only 1 lb and 14 ozs, after three months in the hospital he was coming home.  Our little miracle baby is a happy, full of life 3 year old now, life is full of blessings.  Vicky

NEW BEGINNINGS

I hope everyone is getting a taste of spring, I know I was sure ready for winter to end, it was cold and long.  We are expecting some 30 degree temps here a couple of nights this week, but for the most part the trees and allergies are in full bloom.  I sure wish my flowers would grow as well as the weeds do in my beds, been out pulling all weekend, and need to do much more.  I love this time of the year playing in my flower beds, Oliver seems to really love flowers also, wants to pick them, planning on giving him an area to have a wild flower garden with lots to pick.  Well my New Beginnings is that Green Creek Primitives has joined Early Works Mercantile, starting April 15th we will be sharing our creations every month on the 15th.  The lil bluebird in the picture is actually part of a creation my sister, Lisa has come up with, hope you can stop by and check out what we have been doing.  I have some sad news also my friend Bonnie, she has the shop Primitive Gatherings, in Kingsport, Tn. is closing her shop. I went up recently to visit with her and of course check out her goodies in her shop, yes I came back with the van loaded, will share pics of my new goodies when I get them all up.  Hope everyone has a good week, thanks for stopping by and visiting with me.  Vicky

HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE

Well Spring has finally arrived, been a long cold winter here. still expecting some readings next week at night around upper 20's, but the calendar says it is officially spring so I have been creating some new items to decorate with.  Sunday, March 23rd at 7 pm est. I will have an update here on my blog, hope you can stop by to see what has been going on in my sewing room.  Actually tomorrow is a special day also, it would have been my dad's 83rd birthday, he is the one I started the blog for in remembrance of my days spent with my dad in his antique shop growing up, my dad had this deep down love of old, and he has passed it down to me.  My blog is named after the town my dad was born in,  Green Creek, NC, so it will be a real special treat to share with you the prim things I love to create on this special day, hope you will join me then.  Vicky

This little bunny measures 9" tall, she actually is made from a bottle, my sisters design, asking 32.00 plus 5.00 shipping.
This is the sweetest little rabbit, he only measures 6" tall, would be perfect to sit anywhere in your prim decor, or in a basket for this spring season, asking 29.00 plus 5.00 shipping.

This rabbit couple is made from clothespins, Lisa has taken clay and molded their heads,  then added crackle finish and hand painted the face on, love the little clothes she has made for them.  They are 5 and half inches tall, kindly asking 28.00 plus shipping for the pair.
